LJB Badminton Club

One of the best places to play in Boston. They have around 11 courts, and they’re fairly new, so you can get some really good games in here.

I love booking a court here and playing for an hour or two with family and friends! The atmosphere is great and the courts are well maintained. I highly recommend LJB Badminton Club if you are looking to practice badminton, play casually, or book a court with friends!

I am a coach, player, and umpire, and this is one of the nicest clubs I’ve been to! A hidden gem not far from the Boston city center. Affable staff and open play players. I felt very welcomed and the facilities were clean, well lit, and generously spaced. I feel that it’s rare to find a badminton gym designed to allow so much space between courts, many owners opt to stuff as many courts as possible. The open play and coaching courts were also respectfully separated. In all these aspects, LJB does a great job, and I really enjoyed my visit! Will be recommending as a potential tournament location to higher USAB officials ;)

Absolutely unacceptable experience. On a previous visit, we were told our shoes were “not clean” and were forced to rent shoes. This time, we came fully prepared with clean, proper indoor court shoes, specifically to avoid any issue. Despite that, we were again required to rent shoes, and conveniently informed that this is their “policy.” No written rule, no clear explanation — just a mandatory extra charge. This so-called policy appears to be nothing more than a deliberate tactic to push shoe rentals and squeeze extra money out of customers, regardless of what they bring. It feels dishonest, inconsistent, and purely profit-driven. If shoe rental is mandatory, say it clearly and upfront. Changing the excuse every visit is misleading and disrespectful. I would strongly advise others to think twice before coming here.
